The WNET Conference takes place on 10 and 11 April in Wodzisław Śląski. The first day at the Wodzisław Cultural Centre is devoted to lectures and discussion; the second day consists of practical workshops.
Friday, 10 April - Wodzisław Cultural Centre, 17 Kubsza Street.
8:00-9:00 - registration. 9:00-9:15 - official opening.
9:15-10:00 - Professor Marek Kaczmarzyk: “Why Our Brains Don’t Like Going to School”.
10:00-11:00 - panel discussion: “Teachers on the front line - how can we respond to today’s challenges?”, moderated by Anna Ryszka and Radosław Świergosz.
11:00-11:30 - coffee break. 11:30-11:45 - Anna Turska: children’s attention and the Froebel approach.
11:45-12:15 - Dr Tomasz Szwed: “The Egg - a Metaphor for Education”. 12:20-12:50 - Dr Zuzanna Krajewska-Jastrzębska: supporting visual attention in education.
12:55-13:25 - Łukasz Szeliga: empathetic communication at school. 13:30-14:15 - lunch break.
14:15-14:45 - Zyta Czechowska: working with a diverse class. 14:50-15:20 - Dawid Łasiński: ethical and development-supporting use of AI in every lesson.
The programme brings together practitioners and experts who will share experience, practical solutions and ideas for everyday educational work.
