Two days of inspiration and conversations about education at the WNET Conference
On 10 and 11 April, Wodzisław Śląski became a centre for discussion about education, cooperation and the changes schools need.

On 10 and 11 April, more than 200 people took part in the third WNET Conference - Let’s Start with Education!, the largest educational event in the region. Over two days, participants discussed the challenges of modern education, the art of listening, sensitivity to students’ needs and learning through play.
The first day at the Wodzisław Cultural Centre opened with Professor Marek Kaczmarzyk’s lecture, “Why Our Brains Don’t Like Going to School”, followed by a panel on the realities of teachers’ work, supporting students in a changing world and preventing professional burnout.
Further talks explored children’s attention and the Froebel approach, metaphor in education, visual stimulation, empathetic communication, teaching in diverse classrooms and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education.
The first day concluded with an online talk by Ewa Drobek, who shared her path to the Global Teacher Prize and her experience of educational projects founded on relationships, creativity and cooperation.
On the second day, teachers attended practical workshops at School and Preschool Complex No. 7. The programme covered school branding, developing students’ strengths, voice work, mediation and the wellbeing of students and teachers.
